The wit and banter makes me smile and chuckle. Thrill and mystery presented, and Ms. Maniscalco's ability to paint an image in my mind of a large, dark, drafty, castle that is full of hidden chambers, and her ability to craft words and scenes that wrench emotion out of me is one that makes me love this series so much.
